CNCF Photo Competition

Calling all photographers, both professional and aspiring: The Cayman National Cultural Foundation is hosting an online photography competition, and entries can be submitted from now through April 30th (which is a week from today!) Here are the details, straight from CNCF's website:

You have from April 21st to April 30th 2012 to submit up to three digital images. There’s no entry fee and a wide variety of categories to choose from. Public judging is open May 4th to May 18th when audiences in Cayman and around the world will be able to rate their favorite photographs accounting for 20% of the overall vote. Our team of professional photographers will then judge you work to reveal Cayman’s top photographers! Winners will be announced at our Photo Talks event, May 25th, 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Harquail Studio Theatre.
With three photos allowed and several categories to choose from [including Arts & Culture, Landscapes, Lifestyle, Macro, Nature & Wildlife, Youth (17 and under), and several others], find your favorite photos and enter them soon! All entrants will receive a Cathy Church discount card, and winners will receive fame and fortune! Okay, I enhanced that last part. But seriously, head over to the Cayman National Cultural Foundation's website, register, and upload!

[p.s. I already submitted my three photos. See if you can find them.]

[p.p.s. Hint: Two of them were blogged.]

[p.p.p.s One of them was not the following image, but it did make the short list.]

Little Cayman landscape - unbeatable

  1. This is pretty cool! I'm pretty sure all the professional photographers have joined this event. So, who won the contests? Is it in the landscape category?
